Each practitioner holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and is listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register. In addition, all have completed further fellowship training. Every surgical team member has held or still holds consultant posts within the NHS.

The hospital has also featured on several television programmes in many countries around the world.

The team is led by Mr Bobby Qureshi, the first surgeon to complete the Femtosecond Laser cataract surgery procedure in the UK. Mr Qureshi is also regarded as the most experienced light adjustable lens surgeon in the world.
